Social Skills Group for Children

Girls’ Self-Esteem & Social Skills Group: This ongoing groupwill promote self-confidence, teach problem-solving skills, and help participants develop conflict managementskills. Participants will gain self-awareness that will facilitate insight into their own feelings and teach themhow to communicate feelings appropriately. Learning effective communication, problem-solving skills, anddeveloping conflict management skills will help group participants decrease acting out behaviors and improvesocial interactions with peers and adults.

Additionally, they will learn how to manage peer pressure and acquireleadership skills.

Ages: 10-12
Time: Every other Tuesday from 5-6 pm
